Mauritius replaces South Africa for Total Futsal Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2020

The CAF Organising Committee for Futsal & Beach Soccer has confirmed Mauritius as replacement following the withdrawal of South Africa for the final tournament of the Total Futsal Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2020 scheduled for 28 January to 7 February.

Having lost to South Africa in the qualifiers, Mauritius was given the approval by the Organising Committee as per the tournament regulations, after the former withdrew. Mauritius joins host Morocco, Libya and Equatorial Guinea in Group A.

Group B is made up of Egypt, Guinea, Angola and Mozambique.

The top three teams will qualify to represent Africa at the 2020 FIFA Futsal World Cup fixed for 12 September to 4 October 2020 in Lithuania.
